2026 General Election Results

shíshálh Nation extends its congratulations to newly elected hiwus, Chief Warren Paull and hihewus, Councillors Jamel Paul, Benny Pierre Jr, Selina August, and Phil Paul following the completion of the 2026 General Election.

We raise our hands in gratitude to each candidate who put their name forward in service to our Nation. Offering yourself to lead is an act of courage and commitment to our collective future. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our community members who took part in the voting process. Your voices, your participation, and your care for our governance reflect the strength of our people and the responsibility we carry together for the generations to come.

For those who are newly elected, an oath signing will take place on Monday, February 23rd, at 9:00 am in the makwam boardroom in the huham building.

We look forward to supporting Chief and Council as they undertake their new responsibilities on behalf of the Nation and its members.
