You are invited to the Inauguration Ceremony in honour of our híwus kwa’saʔlahuet (Chief Warren Paull) and híhewhíwus (councillors) – xwaʔ (Philip Paul), lh’ayaxwemat (Selina August), chusep (Jamel Paul) and tsesote (Benny Pierre Jr.) at the shı́shálh Nation Longhouse. A catered meal beginning at 11:00 am to begin the work

The honouring of our previous council lhe hiwus yalxwemult (Lenora Joe), and híhewus o’shale (Rochelle Jones), híhewus ch’elkwilwet (Raquel Joe) and híhewus tituya (Keith Julius).

The inauguration and swearing in of the newly elected council. The inauguration ceremony will consist of a brief opening address, the Council stating their Oath of Office in she shashishalhem.

There will be drumming and singing and an opportunity to celebrate with the participants and guests.
