We are pleased to welcome guest speaker Dr. Dale Clayton, MD, FRCPC, Associate Medical Director at BC Diabetes.
Learn about diabetes, including what it is, who is at risk, how to reduce your risk, and what to do if you are living with diabetes.
Lunch will be provided.
Dr. Dale Clayton received his MD from Dalhousie University in Halifax, where he completed residency training in Internal Medicine and later Endocrinology. He also holds an MHSc from the University of Toronto in Community Health and Epidemiology. He has held faculty appointments at Dalhousie University and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of British Columbia.
He has worked in the field of diabetes since 2008 and has lived with Type 1 diabetes since 1990. His personal and professional experience supports his passion for helping people with diabetes live full and active lives. He joined BC Diabetes as Associate Medical Director in 2025.
